Why 40g works

Each serving of Session provides 40g of carbohydrate.

That number is deliberate. It gives athletes a meaningful amount of fuel in a serving that is easy to understand, easy to measure, and easy to build into training and racing.

For some sessions, one serving may be enough. For longer or harder efforts, it becomes a simple building block you can scale without guesswork.

The goal is not to make fuelling more complicated. It is to make it easier to do properly.

Session uses a considered carbohydrate blend chosen for endurance use, helping deliver energy in a format that feels practical, repeatable, and easy to work with in real training.

We are less interested in making fuelling sound technical for the sake of it, and more interested in making products that athletes can use confidently, consistently, and without friction.


Sodium that fits the athlete

Hydration is not one-size-fits-all, so sodium should not be either.

Sweat losses vary from athlete to athlete and change with temperature, intensity, duration, and conditions. That is why Session comes in different sodium levels:

  • Low sodium: For athletes or conditions where less sodium is needed.
  • High sodium: For hotter conditions, heavier sweaters, or sessions with greater sweat loss.
  • Custom sodium: For athletes who have done a sweat test and want a more tailored setup.

This is a core part of our method. The fuel should fit the athlete, not the other way around.
